Oh Christmas Tree Cushion - Simple Mosaic Crochet Pattern

If you’re looking to add a handmade statement to your Christmas décor this year, the Oh Christmas Tree Cushion is the perfect project.

Designed to be that Christmas item you bring out year on year, this cushion features rows of cute Christmas trees in a line and the mosaic crochet gives it a lovely textured feel.

For my cushion I used Paintbox Simply DK yarn in Champagne White and Pilar Red, and is made using just two stitches, making it a really enjoyable introduction to mosaic crochet. 

It’s festive, but elevated, the kind of piece you’ll look forward to bringing out every year.

Pattern Construction

I made this cushion with the front panel done in the overlay mosaic Christmas tree design and the back panel in half double crochet. Although you could totally do 2 front panels instead.)

Once both panels are complete, they are seamed together to create your finished cushion cover.

Who It’s For

This pattern is ideal for advanced beginners and confident crocheters.

You’ll only need basic stitches, but it’s perfect if you’re ready to try mosaic crochet without committing to making a full blanket sized piece.
